Treasurer

  • Phil explains the signature of Char 500 he did with Nadja..

  • As written in the agenda, we are in time for taxes.

  • We checked the possibility of contacting sponsors from previous years for PBF events.

Production Department

  • Joomla 5.2.3 and 4.4.10 were successfully released. Both contained security fixes.

  • Joomla 5.3.0 Alphas were released.

A big thank you to anybody involved in any of the releases!

  • We reviewed who is leading Pizza, Bugs & Fun event on February 22

  • Sigrid shared her concerns about the volunteer force: Teams are working but they need more people.

Outreach Department

  • Sigrid pointed out that this year Joomla turns 20 years and suggested we create merchandise. Phil suggests checking other providers for merch with more advantageous fees.

  • Angelika shared the list of proposed activities for 2025 she is working on for marketing purposes

  • Angelika requests that we fill in the list of volunteer vacancies she is working on to get more volunteers.

  • Sigrid and Angelika decided to hold a meeting to discuss the important issues for 2025 and how to make information flow more efficient.

Operations Department

  • The restart of the Community newsletter involved some fixes to the mail sending.

  • Carlos has been working in restarting the SPD team.

  • Carlos has been helping some members of the community recover access to our Joomla! properties.
