Discussion outline

President

• Robert shared some points for the in person Board Meeting before JWC in Roma. Luca to move these items to the Agenda that will be shared after this meeting.

• Capital Team members will attend an in person meeting at JWC.

Treasurer

• Mike will share financial reports as soon as they will be available, waiting bank.

• The Board might need to adjust the Budget plan at JWC.

Production Department Report

• Joomla! 3.8.2 Released

• Working toward first alpha of 4.0

• Will be migrating AWS storage of downloads to another region to get around the restrictions in place by some countries

Marketing & Communication Department

• Marketing Sprint with Mike Veeckmans. Focused on copywriting: 4 articles for joomla.org, 1 about PHP7 and 1 for the Capital Team.

• Marketing Team is working to plan Joomla! In Action: https://volunteers.joomla.org/teams/marketing/reports/686-marketing-report-october-2017

• Community Translation Team: Mike Brandner would be ok to take the lead. Meeting at JWC. Election to be organized after JWC.

Operations Department

• Joomla Community Magazine - No magazine for November 2017 due to lack of contributions.

• There are some issues with the shipment of the AV Kit for JWC.

• Rowan shared the numbers of expected attendees at JWC.

• JWC Merchandising and print have been done and ready to travel.

Programs Department

• Luca shared an initiative to increase the geographical coverage of the Joomla! Certification Program.

Vice President

• Joomla! Contributors Agreement draft is almost ready and will be discussed at JWC.

Secretary

• Luca to provide the agenda for the next in person Board Meeting at JWC.
