Discussion Outline

Operations Department
Key across all departments is the need for more volunteers and in the absence of that, a prioritisation of tasks to keep the departments running. All departments are focused on looking for further assistance.

Community Magazine Team
The magazine team has reduced in size and urgently needs further assistance. A Planning document has been put together. There is currently an opening for Team Co-Leader. The Search is on for more authors. It has been suggested that in the absence of contributions, releases of the magazine are slowed to bi monthly or quarterly until such times as contributions build up.

Extensions Directory Team
The development of JED4 is underway and will soon be publicly available on GitHub along with a list of required tasks. The new JED4 will be built on Joomla 3.9 and be fully compatible with Joomla 4. Making this development public should encourage more volunteers and speed delivery.

Resource Directory Team
A number of improvements to the Resource directory are in development and in the process of being rolled out.

Volunteers Portal Team
Main activity is the integration of the Identity Portal, this is now getting close to completion and until it is, other developments are on hold.

Webmasters Team
Ongoing updating of all Joomla servers to PHP 7.1 as PHP 5.6 and 7.0 EOL approaches. PHP 7.2 is also being installed. Team is also reviewing requirements to shutdown JoomlaCode.
