Talk Topics:

  1. All Please revisit the Team Leaders Responsibilities (of June this year). Please provide special attention to attending of department meetings and organising of team meetings.

Security Strike Team (David Jardin)

Updates/Proposed Topics:

  1. Joomla is now an approved CVE CNA.
  2. 3.9.23 included 7 security fixes, one caused a new bug, see 31482

  1. Harald + Benjamin have picked up working on many release blocker tickets (thankyou!)
  2. Started working on merge conflicts from the 3.10 branch and in sync until August

  1. 2 bugs in current release
  2. Started working on merge conflicts from the 3.10 branch and in sync until August
  3. Security fix with SMTP testing

Software Architecture & Strategy Team (Niels Braczek)

Talk Topics:

  1. Volunteers Portal: Which skills are needed for the different positions? We should provide a list of skills linked to (affiliate) places, where people can learn those skills.

    Advice: VET should provide a (MarkDown) template that can be filled by TLs and provide a list of possible tutorial sources.
  2. Discuss incentives for companies devoting time for Joomla in VET - a nice idea in principle, but we don't have sufficient financial power.

    Advice: VET should investigate possibilities for other than monetary incentives.

CMS Release Team (Sigrid Gramlinger)

Updates/Proposed Topics:

  1. For 3.9.23, we did a lot of testing in the areas of the security fixes within the last 48 hours before release. Still missed the bug - issue 31482
  2. PHP8 testing was difficult because of the lack of PHP8 environments, but we could discover some issues.
