Release Leads (Benjamin Trenkle, George Wilson, Tobias Zulauf, Harald Leithner)

* Release lead 4.0 (George Wilson):

  • Minor issues found sorting out the language pack upload functionality. All known issues are currently fixed. Massive thanks to Wilco for all his help.
  • Wilco has published the language pack component on crowdin so it can be translated in itself for the Joomla Downloads site frontend.
  • No major issues discovered in J4 RC1 - various minor things being pushed into RC2 which will be released immediately after this meeting following our 2 week schedule.
  • Discuss when we should call language freeze (this needs to be at minimum one month in advance of stability - as all packs need to be written from scratch).

* Release lead 3.10 (Tobias Zulauf):

  • We will use statistics the project collects to help guide our research.

Other Business

  • Attention to budget
  • What's the “new” process for installer language files? Who is taking care of that? Do we now finally accept core translations? If so we might do a blog post about it on developer right?
