Joomla! Enhancement Development Team (Shivam Rajput)

  • Google Summer of Code (GSoC)
    • Coding Period Kicked off
  • Summer of Code (SoC)
    • For this year we haven't selected any student for the project. We did not have a good pool of students.

Security Strike Team (David Jardin)

  • Successful TUF sprint in Nürnberg, Germany. Server Side toolchain was improved, multiple upstream PRs for the TUF client were created and the implementation in the CMS was continued to a point where update information is now fetched, verified and stored. Important outcome was that we can’t implement a “core-only” solution as a first step - we have to build the j.org repo with 3rd party extensions in mind and that will also affect the implementation in the CMS. A Follow-up sprint is planned.

Automated Testing Team (Hannes Papenberg)

  • Working on moving our system tests to cypress.

  • Last 4.1.x will be released on the 21st of June. Thanks for all the help..

* Release lead 3.10 (Tobias Zulauf):

  • Joomla 3.10.10-rc1 has been published
  • Joomla 3.10.10 will be published on the 21.06.2022

CMS Release Team (Sigrid Gramlinger)

  • We started testing RC packages of 4.1.5 and 3.10.10 and right after the releases we will focus all testing on 4.2.

CMS Maintenance Team (Robert Deutz)

  • Team lead election is on the way
