  • Starting a phase of documentation & testing

Bug Squad Team (Jacob Waisner)

  • The JBS is focusing on 4.2
  • PBF event prior to 4.2 release is in discussion

Joomla! Enhancement Development Team (Shivam Rajput)

  • Google Summer of Code (GSoC)
    • Currently in coding phase.
    • Team is planning with mentor as we see low engagement this year from students.

Security Strike Team (David Jardin)

  • Had a meeting with the Github Security Team to discuss improvements to our workflows.

Releaseleads (Harald, Niels, Roland, Franciska, Benjamin, Tobias, Llewellyn)

* Release Lead 5.0 (Harald Leithner, Niels Braczek):

  • Branch 4.2-dev is now PSR-12, 37 Pull Requests failed to update, 137 updated or a pull request has been created.
  • Branch 5.0-dev has been created
  • Working on Code Style Documentation

* Release Lead 4.2 (Roland Dalmulder, Franciska Perisa)

  • Architectural PRs
  • Composer updates / NPM updates
  • 4.2.0 beta 2 is out
  • PSR-12 merged into 4.2
  • Cookie Manager pushed forward

* Release Lead 4.1 (Benjamin Trenkle)

  • 4.1 is EOL, focus now on 4.2+

* Release lead 3.10 (Tobias Zulauf):

  • Joomla 3.10.10 has been released
  • Joomla 3.10.11 will be the last release and is expected to be released together with the 4.2.0 at the 16. August 2022

* Maintainer Framework (Niels Braczek):

  • What do you think about Add magic methods in Registry.php? Personally, I don’t like it (I’d rather like to remove the array access), but that could be just me…

* Maintainer Docker (Llewellyn van der Merwe):

  • Looking at play-with-docker to improve deploy connection with mysql.
  • Joomla 3.10.10 and 4.1.5 Images have been released.

CMS Release Team (Sigrid Gramlinger)

  • Stefan and Sigrid worked on Post Release Process, almost finished but: do you know any other Open Source System, which has such a process?

CMS Maintenance Team (Robert Deutz)

  • Robert is re-elected as team lead.
