Production Department Coordinator (Benjamin Trenkle)

  • Motion: Rename Release Lead to Release Manager starting with Joomla! 4.3
  • Motion: Elect Olivier Buisard and Shirielle Williams as Joomla! 4.3 Release Manager

Joomla! Accessibility Team (Christiane Maier-Stadtherr)

  • We are preparing some ideas for a11y documentation

Automated Testing Team (Hannes Papenberg)

  • Cypress works now in the CI, now the testing framework (Common tasks like login) are missing. And of course tests.

Releaseleads (Harald, Niels, Roland, Franciska, Benjamin, George, Tobias, Llewellyn)

* Release Lead 5.0 (Harald Leithner, Niels Braczek):

  • Motion set minimum supported [7] PHP version to 8.1.0
    • 8.0 will be EOL couple of month after planned release
    • 8.1 supports fibers which we would like to to support at this point in time
    • Earlier versions may work but are not guaranteed to work (see footnote 7 on technical requirements page)
  • Motion set minimum supported [7] MySQL version to 8.0.11
    • 8.0.11 is the first stable release for 8 series
    • 5.7 will be EOL couple of month after planned release
    • Earlier versions may work but are not guaranteed to work (see footnote 7 on technical requirements page)
  • Motion set minimum supported [7] MariaDB version to 10.4.0
    • 10.3 will be EOL couple of month before planned release
    • Earlier versions may work but are not guaranteed to work (see footnote 7 on technical requirements page)
  • Motion set minimum supported [7] Postgresql version to 12.0
    • 11.3 will be EOL couple of month after planned release
    • Earlier versions may work but are not guaranteed to work (see footnote 7 on technical requirements page)
  • Motion set minimum supported [7] nginx version to 1.21
    • 1.20 is already EOL
    • Earlier versions may work but are not guaranteed to work (see footnote 7 on technical requirements page)
  • Roadmap document in progress thanks to Benjamin
  • Pull request with initial version requirements created (needs some work)

* Release Lead 4.2 (Roland Dalmulder, Franciska Perisa)

  • We will build the Release Candidate on saturday to release it on the 19th
  • RC1 brings language freeze

* Maintainer Framework (Niels Braczek):

  • Preparing v3, expected to be available in a week or so.

Documentation Team (Mike Brandner)

  • Dropping the programmers documentation try and preparing a Docusaurus documentation for programmers/accessibility/seo/… before the documentation sprint

Other Business

  • Internal documentation needs now authentication thru identity.joomla.org
  • Internal documentation has been converted from mkdocs to docusaurus
