Bug Squad Team (Jacob Waisner)
- 704 Issues open
- Nicola Galgano organised a small PBF last saturday. It reduced our open issues from 767 to currently 703.
- Thanks to Nicola for scheduling another bug sprint for this coming weekend.
Joomla! Enhancement Development Team (Shivam Rajput)
- Google Summer of Code (GSoC)
- We are final evaluation for the last 2 projects of GSoC 2022.
- GSoC 2023 schedule is announced.
- We are already receiving responses from the students for GSoC 2023.
- GSoC 2023 open for org applications January 23 - February 7

Robert will contact PHP-FIG - Angie Radtke did some investigation on an installation progress bar and will write about it on the JCM. A good example how things are not as easy.
Joomla! Experience Team (Crystal Dionysopoulos)
- JXT would like closer collaboration with other teams making feature decisions in future releases, how can we best accomplish that?
- Crystal will create a board in the PLT channel for team leads to collaborate on overarching goals and strategy for the CMS
- Welcome Yuusuf to the JXT! He is joining us as a UX writer.
- We have two potential new members coming from outside of the Joomla community - one content designer early in his career, and an established UX researcher/strategist.
CMS Release Team (Sigrid Gramlinger)
- Internal documentation on building releases was updated/restructured by Harald and also integrated from Docs by Franciska. Thanks!
CMS Maintenance Team (Robert Deutz)
- We are again back at well over 200 (216 to be exact) open PRs. What is our plan to lower this number?
Automated Testing Team (Hannes Papenberg)
- How should we handle broken/non-existent error handling? Ex.:

Release Managers (Harald, Niels, Olivier, SD, Roland, Franciska, Tobias, Llewellyn)
Release Lead 5.0 (Harald Leithner, Niels Braczek):
- Are we going to remove UCM from 5.0?
- No
Release Lead 4.3 (Olivier Buisard, Shirielle “SD” Williams):
- For the upcoming builds on Nov 29 and Dec 27, the current plan is to invite Phil, Benjamin, and Sigrid, is there anyone else who would like to be invited? We understand due to time differences it may be a challenge.
- Continuing our dry-run in preparation for the pre-build on Nov 19th. A reminder will be sent Nov 18th which will include what can be tested.
- An article for the magazine will include at a high-level what might be included in the release along with a call for help
- Even though we are only going for alpha, can we please push changes like tags through before this happens?
Release Lead 4.2 (Roland Dalmulder, Franciska Perisa):
- Next release (4.2.6) is one week earlier as planned: December 13 instead of 20 to avoid Christmas holidays
Maintainer Framework (Niels Braczek):
- Unfortunately behind schedule with version 3 of the framework. May pick up speed again soon.
Maintainer Docker (Llewellyn van der Merwe):
- Updated all images to Joomla 4.2.5
- Added PHP 8.0 images to Joomla 3.10
Software Architecture & Strategy Team (Niels Braczek)
