Joomla! Enhancement Development Team (Shivam Rajput)

  • OSPP 2023, we are receiving Application for the project that we have for this time.
  • Mentors working on the prepare as Task for Students, that would be used to evaluate them.

Joomla! Accessibility Team (Christiane Maier-Stadtherr)

  • Viviana will attend the Accessibility conference from Rheinwerk Verlag + Workshop “Barriere­freie Redaktion mit Content-Manage­ment-Systemen (CMS)” and write an article about it.

Joomla! Experience Team (Crystal Dionysopoulos)

  • Userbit, the site we use for research analysis, has granted us access to their beta Zapier integration.
    • This will make it easier to do things like add survey responses as they come in from Google Forms, and remove a significant bottleneck in the process.
    • If we enable a Mattermost integration with Zapier, this also means we could post updates to channels as research insights are published. Is enabling Zapier a possibility?

Security Strike Team (David Jardin)

  • 4.3.2 released

CMS Release Team (Sigrid Gramlinger)

  • Thanks everyone for the releases and all testing!

Release Managers (Harald, Niels, Olivier, SD, Roland, Franciska, Tobias, Llewellyn)

Release Manager 5.0 (Harald Leithner, Niels Braczek):

  • 5.0.0 alpha 1 release
  • Removing a plugin would be a BC break. As we promised to not break anything in 5.0 without a motion we would like to get a vote on the “Removal of the Scheduler (Task) Demo plugin in 5.0” as the plugin has no real function (and is also not best practice).

Release Manager 4.4 (Allon Moritz, Martin Kopp):

  • 4.4.0 alpha 1 release

Release Lead 4.3 (Olivier Buisard, Shirielle “SD” Williams):

  • 4.3.2 release with security patches. BIG thank you to the Security Strike team for communication and help provided in getting the release ready.

Maintainer Docker (Llewellyn van der Merwe):

  • We would like to add PHP 8.1 to the Joomla 3.10.11 images (future)
  • We added Joomla 4.4 and 5.0 alpha images
  • We added PHP 8.2 to the Joomla 4.3+ images
  • 4.3.2 Images released
