The team is starting to focus on addressing user requests to have a better/more modern template - without breaking accessibility!

 

Joomla! Accessibility and Usability Team (Christiane Maier-Stadtherr)

Christiane, assisted by Sigrid, held a presentation at an accessibility conference in Austria and presented Joomla 5. There was big interest in the accessible Joomla backend. There was also a very interesting session about accessibility overlays from a scientific perspective and why you most probably should not use it.

5.1.2 and 4.4.6 fixing 5 issues has been released.
