Minutes:

  • Dept 

    • Jaz informed Todd that the board has written a response to the Educational Outreach Working Group’s questions and that the document has been emailed across to them.

    • Jaz thanked everyone for getting the agenda populated ahead of the meeting time.

  • JCP 

    • Andrea has decided to step down from the team, everyone thanks her for all of her time and hard work.

    • Chris shared some updates about the team’s planning for the new exam and continued testing of the new exam component.

    • The department members discussed the best location for managing the questions, so that only team members have access. Wilco suggested to use the QMS that was previously created for this purpose.

    • Three volunteers have stepped forward who are willing to help review and update the exam question sets.

  • VET 

    • Patrick explained that the team is continuing to work on defining their mission and goals statements, as well as the onboarding document.

    • Significant progress has been made in February on both Help Wanted and Onboarding projects, and during March the team will be reaching out to other teams (Webmasters and JVP) to start discussing access to update various information and features on the various sites.

  • JEO

    • Todd thanked Jaz for the answers to the questions that the team raised with the board, and reiterated their concerns. Jaz suggested that the team review the response and then revert with any further concerns. Jaz will attend the team’s next meeting to aid this process.

  • Other business

    • Jaz and Wilco informed the department members of the passed board motion that means that the Programs Department will shortly welcome a new team - Joomla Translation Program (JTP) Team. The team is a combination of the two previously separate translation teams from the Production and Marketing Departments.
