I only started using Joomla about 2 years ago! As a result of the pandemic, work wasn't very plentiful. I was then offered a position/lifeline by a company that needed help with its digital marketing and a website upgrade. The website was built with Joomla but hadn't been updated in years, a really early version...

I had never used Joomla before and coming from a mainly Shopify background it was a steep learning curve! Having worked with Joomla for a while now and understanding its seemingly no-limits functionality, I can honestly say that I love it! However, I don't think I have even scratched the surface of its potential and look forward to developing new sites and projects with Joomla.

My learning experience with Joomla was helped largely by its community, in particular the Facebook group which was my go-to resource for all the newbie questions I had/have. So when I saw the post requesting Joomla volunteers I was more than happy to get involved.
