In 2012, I began a journey with Joomla!, initially maintaining a personal website that my husband built for my custom bakery. Over time, my interest for web design surpassed my baking endeavours. Today, I've largely swapped my whisk for a mouse, reserving baking as a delightful pastime with my family.

While there are numerous CMS platforms available, we at Vast Development Method exclusively use Joomla! It stands out not just as a superior CMS but as an exceptional tool for building large, complex, and stable web-based applications. This led us to create Joomla Component Builder, Llewellyn van der Merwe's brainchild, designed for rapid development. Its capabilities gave us a distinct edge, that then was made publicly available to all Joomla! developers in 2014 underlining our company's open source policy.

We are looking forward to what the future holds for JCB with Joomla! 5 and beyond.
