About me:
My passion for Joomla arose when Joomla was started and split from Mambo. I have been working with Joomla since version 1.0 and since version 2.5 all the websites I have created have been developed with the beautiful Joomla CMS. Joomla is my hobby.
As a Joomla Volunteer, I organize JUG043 Maastricht meetups for the Joomla User Group in Limburg, Netherlands, and contribute to JoomlaDagen Netherlands by helping with event organization and delivering presentations. I also write Dutch step-by-step guides for Joomla, helping users of all levels build and manage their websites.
In my professional life, I have been active in ICT since 2000 and currently work as an Information Risk & Security Officer. I focus on Risk, Governance, and Compliance, with experience in various ISO and NEN certifications as well as ITIL processes. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, photography, watching F1, listening to music, and cooking.
