Joomla! Volunteer Engagement (VET) paper
We have quickly reviewed a document from them but it seems it was quite outdated, would be nice to have this in place, but not realistic considering the few volunteers that currently we have.
We have discussed this topic, as a result ,cause we still are few, we cannot specialize someone to look to something only, but we can start to use an internal document where we put members area of expertise, so it should be more easy to ask to someone on a specific matter.
Pizza Bug and Fun
As it is now official that the event will take place worldwide, Saturday October 19, all team members will try to do their best to be present if it is possible in person at the different locations, or even on-line, to contribute to the success of the event, with the hope to gain more contributors/testers in the long run. JDocs FAQ Pages
"...The release FAQs fall under JBS and that when there's a bug in a release which is fixed in the next release, bug squad is supposed to create a page, explain the issue and add the fix (with the link to the PR)...". Even if personally speaking i not agree on this, should be a task for other teams (we are plenty of teams), since someone in the team have raised up his hand and he is willing to do it, then problem solved.
We are always researching for new members, we will send an invitation to them, we have found someone very active in the tracker. If you are interested to join, please get in touch with me firstname.lastname@example.org
Recent issues with the releases
We have started a discussion on this matter focusing on what we should do better in future, what we have learned from that and how we can improve our process,
