Discussion outline

Current status

This time i want to show you a graph relative to the number of issues and his trend on a six month timeframe, the trend is pretty easy understandable, despite the trend of closed issues is quite linear, you can notice, that, the red one (new issues) is noticeable growing lately.

A new com_patchtester for Joomla 4 is in development

Recently a couple of pr’s have landed on github, as an effort from the ATT team, the main goal is to allow our volunteer to test pull request, without the need to install and set developer stuff like: git, npm, compose, etc.

I would recommend to start looking at the discussion ongoing about this, even if it seems that direction has been already decided, we will continue the discussion in the next meetings, so we can have the needed time to understand what has been done, as for the JBS team, this is an important tool.

Pizza Bug and Fun

This worldwide event is approaching, we are discussing the opportunity to share a list of pr’s that we really want they  have a chance to got some test performed.

Bug Sprint

There will not be any Bug Sprint, we have member from US, so this is simply unrealizable, cause of low budget.

The DATETIME field & Mysql 8

We have started to discuss first internally on how to solve this issue and after with the Release Leaders, we have proposed an action plan even if it is still a DRAFT document :

and a spreadsheet where we have mapped all the DATETIME fields in the joomla schema which can be useful to have the whole picture and to track the future progress.

At the JoomlaDay DE Richard, George, Harald and Roland will discuss this more deep and live, so as soon as possible we can move on “doing phase”, any contribution is wellcommed
