Discussion outline

Current Status

The number of open issues is quite stable from the last meeting, about (780). The most worrying data is relative to the number of the Release Blocker, we have 27 issues and 6 pull requests. We all agree that the maximum priority is to lower the number of Release Blockers, without this it will be difficult to reach the Release Candidate status soon.

Old and New members

We would like to thank Astrid for all the contributions and time spent in the project, she informed us that she left the Team because of lack of free time. We hope it's only a goodbye.

We have evaluated the two candidatures to join the team that we have received lately, unanimously we have decided to stand-by for the moment, we would like to see more activities from their side, we remember them that valid contributions are not only tests and coding, but writing documentation or translating in their languages is warmly welcomed.

New features for 4.1

We have briefly discussed the proposal from Luca, to have a kind of Credit page to list all libraries, extensions etc., Luca will publish a Request For Comment on Github to get community feedback.

The already planned feature for 4.1 Poor mans CRON is quite ready see: https://github.com/joomla/joomla-cms/pull/29592

it needs some tests to be merged on 4.1 branch, as it is a base for further enhancements, we would like to invite everyone interested to collaborate with us.
