Better “Discussion” Management
Thanks to SharkyKZ
SharkyKZ has decided to leave the JBS. We wanted to thank him for the contributions not only to the JBS team but to Joomla as a whole.
PHP 8 Status
As of this time there are 5 open issues, 13 closed issues, pr 2 open, with 20 closed PRs (mostly J3). The team is looking for additional testers for PHP 8 and setting up environments for them to test in for PHP 8 to ensure J3 and J4 are ready for the release of PHP 8.
Release Blockers
During the discussion we looked to review the skill set of the JBS to address the release blockers and identify the release blockers that could not be addressed by the team to ask for public assistance in resolving. The review of skill sets is still ongoing.
UX Label
It was brought up on weather or not we should add a label to github for UX related issues/requests. Currently there are 35 labels and the consensus in the meeting was not to add a specific label at this time.
Better “Discussion” Management
During the meeting a discussion came up about how to handle “Discussion” topics within Github. Ideas were brought forward for a label as well as other functions within Github. More discussion to be had at the next team meeting.
Next Meeting
