• 42 new PRs remain opened over the past month

• 89 issues closed over the past month

• 44 new Issues over the past month.

 

“Good First Issue” Tag

   We discussed this tag and its uses to better allow new contributors to see something that could have a PR created to get them introduced to the Joomla! Codebase. If you see this tag on an Issue, this is a great opportunity for you to contribute especially if you are learning how to build PRs for the project and need to start small. For our experienced contributors, please leave some fun for the new contributors.

 

PRs assigned to inactive contributors

 

  We discussed some options to help ensure that PRs do not get assigned to inactive contributors which can stall resolution or if they are assigned ways to unassign them. This is still in the early stages of discussion but was a great topic to bring up.
