This meeting was announced a little bit on short notice, but for that we had a rather large group of people present. The main topic was how to attract new contributors and the overall tone on the issue tracker. The goal is to make small, lasting steps towards a bigger, friendlier and thus attractive issue tracker, hopefully motivating people to stick with the project. The first step will be to make sure that every new issue and PR gets a fast first response, thanking for the contribution, asking for missing information and explaining the next steps. This is of course a lot to write for each new issue, so Hannes will write a series of responses as templates for this, based on previous work in this area by Brian Teeman.
