On this monthly meeting of the JBS, we talked about the new wording on the tracker, the "Pizza, Bugs and Fun" event and how feature requests are handled in both the issue tracker and the pull requests. Regarding the new wording, this unfortunately was not ready for this meeting. The "Pizza, Bugs and Fun" event required additional people to organize and since no one else volunteered, I could not take over the organisation for this event this time. If a PBF could be done this year was thus up in the air. The biggest discussion then spun up about how feature requests should be handled. Right now, we have over 200 issues in our tracker which are feature requests and so far there is no plan on how to handle them, except that at some point someone might implement a feature and then the issue would be closed. The team agreed that feature requests are actually the task of the CMS Maintenance Team and thus I was asked to talk to the Maintenance Team Lead to ask for their plan for this in the future.
