The Joomla! Certification Operation Team (COT) meets every Thursday at 1:00 PM GMT. This meeting was held on March 10th, 2016 on Glip.

Presents: Patrick Jungbluth, Luca Marzo, Todd Woodward, Arjen Schrijvers, Pablo Pantoja, Richard Van Tilborg.

Absents: Chris Keen, Hector Mansilla, Deb Cinkus, Johan Van der Velde, Andre Dreier.

Discussion Outline

  • Patrick reported news from the Steering Meeting.

  • Arjen reported an update from the Exam Team: only 40 questions to go.

  • Platform Team is currently working on the Certified Users Directory

  • Patrick received a free copy of Maqma Helpdesk. It will be used as helpdesk/support system for the certification website.

  • Luca will setup the helpdesk system on the certification website.

  • Victor Drover (OSM) reported that 0% VAT will be applied on Exam price.

  • Exam Platform will use PayPal as standard payment system at the moment. Stripe and other offline payment methods will be added later.

  • Luca will train new member Todd. He’s going to handle JUGs/JDays applications.

  • Luca shared with team the “Rules for Exam Proctors” document created with Richard.

  • Richard is working with Elisa and Mike (Joomla! Marketing Team) and Sarah Watz to resolve the badges’ issue

  • Team is going under a deep reorganization following the proposal from Patrick and Luca, each team member will have a role and assigned tasks. Roles will be updated on the Volunteers Portal group page.
