Discussion Outline
-
Luca reported news from the Steering Meeting, where together with Sarah and Patrick contracts were reviewed and sent back to the lawyers.
-
Team discussed about the Exam Calendar, Radek Suski will help the team deploying this feature using SobiPro. The process should work in this way: Registered users (JLPs / JUG Organizers) can submit their Certification sessions in the Exam Calendar, COT will receive a notification and will approve the session that will be showed in the Calendar on the Certification website. This feature could be delayed, if necessary.
-
About missing countries exam price, Team will look for values and will publish them. At the moment Big Mac Index doesn’t show values for each country. Users can suggest missing countries and we’ll add them to the list.
-
Team completed the screening of application as JUGs/JoomlaDays. We rejected two applications from JoomlaDays because of the time: JoomlaDay Norway was on April 08; JoomlaDay France will be on April 30, but they don't have the right time to promote the Certification Program in such a short period (15 days). Other applications, as JUGs, have been processed, a support ticket has been opened for each application. Waiting answers from the applicants.
-
Sam will contact Victor Drover to solve a selling/taxation issue for JUGs/Events candidates. Team will ask also the blacklist of countries where US operators can’t sell products/services.
-
At the beginning of the Certification Program, only trusted volunteers (approved by COT) can supervise exam sessions at JUGs / JoomlaDays.
-
Supervisors should take the exam before of supervising exams, otherwise they can’t take a certification exam for the current Joomla! version.
-
Poll about badges will end next Saturday. At the moment we had 191 voters. Richard (or Brian Teeman) will present the official badge for Certified Administrator during the JoomlaDay Netherlands this weekend.
All of these meeting notes are not final and cannot be used as reference.
Meeting ends after 100 minutes.
