The Joomla! Certification Operations Team (COT) meets every Thursday at 1:00 PM GMT. This meeting was held on October 6th, 2016 on Glip.

Absents: Chris Keen, Hector Mansilla, Johan Van der Velde, Todd Woodward, Andre Dreier, Richard van Tilborg, Pablo Pantoja.

Discussion Outline

• Patrick reported news from the last Steering meeting.

• COT will send to the approved JLPs the Welcome Pack during this week.

• JoomlaDay Italy applied again for a session and it has been approved.

• Steering Meeting reviewed the experience of the JLP certification session held at JoomlaDay Denver (USA), supervised by Sarah Watz. She provided a very detailed feedback.

• Luca talked about the Certification Program at Joomla! Festival in Italy last week and he received a lot of positive feedbacks.

• Marketing Team sent a welcome newsletter to approved JLPs yesterday.

• Exam Team is reviewing questions to improve quality and consistency.

• Certification Program has now 19 approved Joomla! Learning Partners, coming from Italy, Austria, France, Malaysia, Norway, Croatia, Netherlands, Nigeria, Spain, Botswana, Germany.

• COT received and approved the application to host an exam session at JoomlaDay Austria on early december.

• Andre decided to step down from the ATL position and to take a pause from the Certification Program.

  • Joomla! World Conference (Canada) with Sarah Watz as Supervisor (November 11, 2016)

  • JoomlaDay Italy with Luca Marzo as Supervisor (November 12, 2016)

  • JoomlaDay Austria with Stefanie Thielmann as Supervisor (December 2, 2016)

• Upcoming Exam sessions at Joomla! Learning Partners:

  • Colt Engine in Pisa, Italy on October 15, 2016.
