The Joomla! Certification Operations Team (COT) meets every Thursday at 1:00 PM GMT. This meeting was held on January 12, 2017 on Glip.

In attendance: Luca Marzo, Patrick Jungbluth, Oscar Ortiz, Todd Woodward, Pablo Pantoja, Richard van Tilborg, Arjen Schrijvers.

Luca is completing the evaluation of new applications as Joomla! Learning Partner.

Oscar is dealing with the applications as Regional Coordinator.

COT will organise an introduction meeting for the Regional Coordinators.

COT removed inactive team members and re-arranged responsibilities and tasks according to the new structure.

Luca suggested to improve the efficiency of the COT workflow management, nominating different responsible members to deal with different kind of applications.

Oscar will serve as Joomla! User Group Relations Manager within COT.

Pablo will serve as JoomlaDays Relations Manager within COT.
-
Patrick will serve as Regional Coordinators Relations Manager within COT.

Todd will serve as Support Manager within COT
-
Luca will create a room on Glip for sessions organisers (JUGs/JoomlaDays) like the one for JLPs.

All these tasks are needed in order to create a “Partner Network” and deploy properly the exam all over the World.

Team decided to implement a policy for pending applications and tickets that will be rejected/closed after 15 days without answers by the submitter.

Certification Website has been highly improved thanks to a “cross JCP teams task force” together with the help of Rowan Hoskyns Abrahall.

Certification Team will look shortly for a copywriter to help with contents for Marketing and Operations purposes. If you’re interested in such position, please write an email to certification@community.joomla.org
