The Joomla! Certification Steering Group meets every Tuesday at 2:00 PM GMT. This meeting was held on February 14, 2017 on Glip.

In attendance: Luca Marzo, Patrick Jungbluth, Stefanie Thielman, Oscar Ortiz, Sam Suresh, Michael Snoeren, Richard van Tilborg.

Absents: Sarah Watz, Andrea Gentil.

Discussion Outline

  • Sam and Patrick reported a problem with the paypal payment. Sam contacted Mike Demopoulos for verification.

  • Luca has nothing to report from department. Shortly the department will have the first meeting with TLs. Tonight the Volunteers Portal will be updated to include Departments as new leadership teams.

  • The exam team did not meet last week. This week the team will vote for a new team leader. Some questions are already in the Maintenance System to check the workflow

  • Marketing Team is working on new banners for the certification website. The Team tries to get the certifications on the events website. The Welcome Packages will be adjusted (and put online at our website) to promote the certification among JUGs and JDAYs.
    There are mailing problems with the newsletter, because of missing DKIM verification and Sender address. Rowan is working on a solution.

  • The meeting time of the steering is changed to 1:00 PM GMT on Tuesday.

  • Stefanie asked the team to shift discussions / decisions to the steering team instead of doing them in the operation team. The team agreed.
