Team Role

We will stay with the team role definition as stated on the volunteers portal:

This team is responsible for coordinating all aspects of Joomla! CMS releases. Also, one main task is to test CMS release candidates extensively on complex testing environments.

Post release process

Sigrid and Stefan are working on a draft next week and will update the team in the glip channel and continue the dialog with all parties involved.

Testing focus

From now on, we focus testing only on 4.2. We will try video documentation with 2 features. Shortcuts will be too “easy” for a video, but Sigrid will try with workflows.

Release 3.10

• 3.10.10 released without problems. Thank you Tobias!

Release 4.1

• Final 4.1 released. Thank you Benjamin for all your effort and work for the 4.1 series!!!

Release 4.2

• 4.2.0 Beta 2 released - now feature freeze

 

Language Coordination

Stefan is trying to improve the communication channels regarding translations. Right now, there is a lot of coordination necessary. There were also two new languages where translators needed more support at the beginning.
