This meeting of the Joomla! Compliance Team has been held on September 25, 2019 at 16.30 CET on Glip.

In attendance: Achilleas Papageorgiou, Luca Marzo, Sandra Decoux, Roland Dalmulder, Sander Potjer, Alkaios Anagnostopoulos.

Discussion outline

  • Alkaios shared with the team the commits he made on the cookie script that included all the latest ideas and changes.
  • Sander to review and implement Alkaios’ work on two test properties in order to evaluate the code status before will commit it to the template repo.
  • The latest days Roland was focused on the SSO login performance issue to find a solution. Additionally, reviewed some issues opened by Sander and Achilleas on GH to deliver the best possible solution. 
  • The latest days Achilleas and Sandra worked on an updated text that the performance category should present to users when they are opening the UI of the cookie bar. The final text as proposed by Sandra  to be implemented by Luca on the OSM property first to replace the current one.
  • The team is working towards three main directions; 1. The finalization of the cookie script, its delivery to the template repo and the publication of the cookie policy, 2. the SSO/IdMS first demo for the Webmasters, 3. the finalization of the IRP task.

The Joomla Compliance Team is an active and dynamic team that is currently involved in several different tasks that include legal compliance, privacy related reports, design thinking, development, document reviews and decision making, privacy consultancy, Cross-CMS collaborative activities and more. The Joomla Compliance Team is looking for new volunteers.
