GDPR/Compliance Team Meeting - November 21, 2018
This meeting of the Joomla! Compliance Team has been held on November 21, 2018 at 16.30 CET on Glip
In attendance: Achilleas Papageorgiou, Luca Marzo, Sandra Decoux, Roland Dalmulder, Alkaios Anagnostopoulos, Yves Hoppe, Reino Koho.

Roland shared an update of their work with Sander on the SSO/DMS task. Several checks are being performed on the communication part between the Identity Provider and the Service Provider. The delivery of a demo to be tested by the team it is expected before the end of the month.
Achilleas shared a first draft of their work with Luca and Alkaios on the Backup Policy document. There are many challenges to be faced regarding the GDPR requirements (retention, data subjects rights etc). The team will be involved to contribute with comments and/or suggestions towards an updated version of the Joomla.org Properties Backup Policy document.
Reino shared an updated of his work on the article for the Joomla Community Magazine for review by the team. His article regarding the role of data processor is almost ready. The team will also provide any comments on that and Sandra to request a proofreading.
The team had a discussion with Michael Babker, during the past week, regarding the cookie script implementation. A strategic implementation plan was agreed in its technical part and very soon the team is expected to be able to activate the cookie script per property in collaboration with each webmaster.

The Joomla Compliance Team is looking for new volunteers.
Lawyers, people with legal/compliance background, GDPR/ privacy protection experts, developers are more than welcome to join the team and contribute to tasks such as privacy/cookie policies, backup policies, incident response plan, development of compliance related features, index of processing activities etc. Please get in touch with Achilleas Papageorgiou email@example.com
