During the past week, the Group worked on the analysis of the CMSs against the Privacy principles proposed by Heather: https://github.com/webdevlaw/open-source-privacy-standards
Alan shared a presentation about the status of compliance of Umbraco.
Jamie shared a presentation about the status of compliance of Drupal.
Alan proposed the idea to introduce for each CMS the opportunity to review/certify third-party extensions that use the core Privacy APIs.
Heather proposed to create a standard privacy audit for the third-party addons.
The group will work on a Privacy Audit checklist for third-party developers, in order to self-assess their packages before the release.
Jamie shared a list of software features related to Privacy.
Homework is to continue to self-evaluate our projects for strengths and weaknesses in best privacy practice
Meeting ended after 70 minutes.
