Discussion outline

  • Sander shared an update on their work with Roland. Sander will prepare a testing environment and documentation regarding the functionalities to be tested by the team within the testing phase. This subtask is expected to be completed before the next meeting.
  • Luca shared with the team an update regarding the Backup Policy and the review process by the Webmasters team. Luca to proceed with the proposal of the Backup Policy to the Board of Directors in order to be adopted as an official policy.
  • Reino is preparing a final version of his upcoming article to be published at the Joomla Community Magazine (JCM). His article regarding the Data Minimization is expected to provide useful information to the community regarding the necessity of such a measure by Webmasters and organizations.
  • The team discussed the way they should proceed with the current open and upcoming tasks. While the SSO/DMS is more than ever close to be tested and published to the community, the team will mostly focused on that. At the same time and because of the difficulties regarding testing the cookie script on J! Properties, the team will focus on contributing to Michael Babker’s work with the cookie script task, after the completion of the SSO/DMS testing phase. The result of completion of these two tasks will also make the ground base for the next update of the privacy policy and cookie policy texts.
  • The previous week Kleanthis made progress regarding the roles and responsibilities framework of the Incident Response Plan (IRP). Luca shared with Kleanthis the structure of Open Source Matters (OSM) to deeper comprehend the core operations of each department, so as to design the roles needed in the IRP. Next steps include the additions of responsibilities to the roles and the design of the related flowcharts.
