Changes to Team Structure
Tessa is stepping back from some of her JED duties due to her schedule, and as such, Jaz has stepped up to take the Assistant Team Manager role, and Luca has stepped up to take the Listing Team Manager role.
Matt and Jaz will be interviewing people who recently submitted volunteer applications; we hope to add new members to the team shortly and will get them trained up to start processing listings and tickets as soon as possible.
J and Beyond
Quite a few members of the JED Team will be attending the J and Beyond conference in Barcelona on 20th - 22nd May - if you see us, come and say hello!
We are also proud to have some sessions being presented by members of the JED Team:
- Aleksander Kuczek - “Better Safe Than Sorry. Updating Joomla keeps hackers away.”
- Hugh Douglas-Smith - “e-Commerce, the customer journey and why people don't buy”
- Anibal Sanchez - “JED development: how to collaborate and improve our extensions directory”
Contributing to JED
We are currently ironing out a few issues with the development environment and will provide updates on this as soon as possible.
If you find any bugs or would like to suggest an improvement, please find the issue on our JIRA Issue Tracker. Your opinion could make a significant impact on the Extensions Directory.
The next JED team meeting will take place on 27th May 2016 at the same time.
