Report Period: May 19–23, 2025

The second Workflow Enhancements project review meeting was held on May 23, 2025. The meeting was attended by Benjamin Trenkle, Dileep Adari and Christiane Maier-Stadtherr. It was focused on the plan for the future work and the understanding of the codebase. 

What has been done throughout the week

• May 19-20:

  • Compared some of the existing workflow management system for inspiration and documented what are the best views from them.

• May 21:

  • Explored some of the research papers and found some of the best ways to have most accessible workflow systems.

• May 22:

  • Using the existing systems formulated some of the UIs on paper and tried implementing with simple HTML and JS.

• May 23:

  • Met with mentor for a weekly progress discussion.

  • Tried out some plugins that are already available and some suggested by the mentors.

Planned for Next Week:

• Create low-fidelity mockups of UI screens.
• Try out available packages/extensions.
