Report Period: May 26–30, 2025

The third Workflow Enhancements project review meeting was held on May 30, 2025. The meeting was attended by Benjamin Trenkle, Dileep Adari and Christiane Maier-Stadtherr. It was focused on reviewing the packages/modules that can be used and the available plugins.

What has been done throughout the week

• May 26:

  • Completed pending prior week tasks.

  • Started analyzing graph editor implementations in other CMS platforms.

• May 27:

  • Compiled notes on state-of-the-art graph libraries (React Flow, Vue Flow, Drawflow, Gojs, Rete.js, joint.js etc.).

• May 28:

  • Installed and tested existing plugins relevant to graphical workflows and tried tweaking them to get inspirations.

• May 29:

  • Explored internal modal logic and functions in Joomla related to the stages and transitions management.
• May 30:
  • Met with mentor for a weekly progress discussion.
  • Started on working for the figma prototype for the UI that needs to be implemented.

Planned for Next Week:

• Begin building graphical overview
• Create layout template for the overview 
• Finalize Figma mockups.
