1. CDN update for the Tour Guide.

• As Yves told he already have words with Michael for implementing it on JServer and With David Jardin from JSST Team look into this feature so I will wait till then.

• For a time being, I am implementing the CDN using Yves hosted Server.

 

2. Who is going to prepare the JSON files?

• The community will be updating the Tour Guide file

• As suggested by Tom there would be a framework file that community can follow to make the Tour guide file.

• Sandra Inform about Tour suggested by Charlie
  Here were some tours suggested by Charlie:
  1. welcome to the dashboard
  2. Here's how you create a menu item
  3. Here's how you create an article
  4. Here's how you assign a module to a page
  5. etc etc

• Suggestion by Joao
  - the required fields
  - the most used fields
  - the rest of them

 

3. Regarding the Tour Button Name and Icon.

• I will be asking Joomla UX team as it UX related Dimitris will be helping me connect to them.

 

4. Further Enhancement for Guided Tour.( https://github.com/joomla-projects/gsoc17_helpscreens_on_jdocs/tree/jsontest )

• The team suggested once the Initial feature of the Guided tour is implemented then the team can decide if any other future that needs to be added.

 

5. Reports for the Automation of Screenshots (Yves will be helping out in this).

 

• Yves is helping me out to understand the use of screenshot automation repo and helping out how I can execute the same.

• Sandra can suggest me any new automation if required and we can discuss further if it possible and work over this once screenshot automation is over.
