The weekly meeting of the Joomla 4 Feature Enhancements Project Team has been held on May 27, 2019 at 19.30 CET on Google Meet.

Discussion outline

Last week Mentors provided to the student a spreadsheet to log daily activities related to the Project.
Nicola suggested to try to keep the project repository in sync as much as possible with the main CMS repository in order to avoid large conflicts in files and make the merge file easier.
Hardik shared his technical plan for the two major features included in the GSoC Project: Cookie Management Feature and Module Assignment Enhancement.
Harald recommended to start with the implementation of the Module Assignment.
Harald and Luca detailed the requirements of the Module Assignment feature.
Harald detailed the requirements of the Menu Item “exposure” feature.
For the Cookie Management Feature it’s necessary to develop a plugin to show the cookie consent request and a component to manage the cookies.
Mentors reminded the timeline of GSoC.
First GSoC coding phase started today.
