JCM Meeting Report - October 29, 2020 - Community Magazine Team

In attendance: Luca Marzo, Anja de Crom, Hans van der Meer, Sandra Decoux, Wilco Alsemgeest.

October issue published on time: thanks to the whole team for the work done
The Team reviewed the status of the Release Plan for the November Issue of the JCM.
Anja proposed to reinstate the article series: “Getting extensions ready for Joomla 4” and “Joomla turns 15”.
Andrea prepared a Google Data Studio with analytics data and other success metrics of the JCM.
The Team reviewed the metrics about visits and engagement related to the past 30 days.
Upon team’s suggestions, the list of topics for which we aim to have articles have been added to the Editor’s Introduction. This will be done monthly to simplify the research of new authors, providing them topics.
The Team proposed several additional articles for the November Issue.
The Team accepted the proposal to review and uniform the tags in the magazine as per the internal issue #89.
Andrea proposed to send a “Call for authors” through a newsletter. The call will be implemented also in the regular newsletter so it can increase the opportunities to find new authors.
