The Joomla! Trademark & Licensing Working Group (TLWG) meets once a month. This meeting was held on April 5th, 2016 at 10.00 p.m. (CET) on Glip.

Team published the new Trademark & Licensing Website last friday, it’s available at https://tm.joomla.org .

Team discussed about a question from the Joomla! Marketing Team about the publishing of the Official Joomla! Brand Manual. https://github.com/joomla/joomla-websites/issues/270 Trademark website will host the Joomla! Brand Manual and a member of the Joomla! Marketing Team will keep it up-to-date. (Marco will contact Mike Veeckmans)

Team continued the implementation of the restructuring process, talking about the assignment of new responsibilities and roles for team members. Three team roles have been defined to handle three kind of questions coming from the Ticket System: “Trademark Requests”, “Domain/Website Requests”, “Reports/Complaints”.

Team has a Google Form to evaluate compliance of websites. Each submission is stored in a Spreadsheet on Google Drive.

Marco will work on a Call for Volunteers next week. New volunteers will be trained and will work on Trademark Audits for the first period as contributors.

Team will ask other teams for liaison members where needed.

Marijke Stuivenberg is the new Assistant Team Leader for TLWG Team.

Team worked on some default answer templates. They will be used in the ticket system.

Ticket system of the TM Website is up and running. Requests for trademark / domain name permissions and general questions will be handled within the ticket system.

Team started last month to have monthly meetings, planned using Doodle.
