Volunteer Engagement Team Meeting Report

Updates/Proposed Topics:

The two main topics of discussion are:

  • Help wanted page is not an easy entry point for (new) volunteers trying to find a suitable role.

 A possible solution for this is to redesign the structure, for example not per team but per role /skill and/or using tags. These options will be discussed with the VP team

  • Contacting the VET is only possible if you have a VP account, this deters some potential volunteers from contacting the VET.

Not having a VP account is not an option, an account helps reduce spam and increases security. The VET also needs to better monitor any contact with the VET including referral to other teams, this could be solved by using a 'ticket system'. 


Tasks:

Complete VET Mission and Vision statements (including VET role and tasks)
Develop the VET roadmap
Further develop the onboarding documents (role / task division between VET and TLs)
