Current status

Maybe due to my work in a closed source environment, till now i've maybe too much emphasized, about the number of open issues as the most important quality index factor, team members are more inclined to consider this as only an indicator of how much works still need to be done, and to give more importance to  this indicator: more items are being closed than being opened.

 

Repository permission levels

Recently Github have rolled out a more fine grained permission, for more info https://help.github.com/en/articles/repository-permission-levels-for-an-organization

it can be very useful if team members can have at least the Triage permission level.

 

 

Prepared statement conversion status

 The status of this task has been well summarized here: https://github.com/joomla/joomla-cms/projects/20  feel free to report if something has been not correctly reported, the goal is to have these pr’s merged for PBF.

The update issue with nested set table

 The issue: update statements in sql update scripts, when nested set table are involved like menu, assets and so on, is simply wrong, we have started a brainstorming and we will give high priority to this task, as soon as we can (ie when date null + prepared statement + PBF are over). As usual any contribution in this direction is warmly welcomed.
