Production Department

  • Joomla! 5.3.1 released
  • Joomla! 5.4.0 Alpha 1 released - with automated updates
  • Joomla! 6.0.0 Alpha 1 released
  • A big, big thank you to everybody involved and specially to Benjamin who gave extended release training/support. Up to 20 people joined the release party!

Budget almost finished - still everybody planning a budget for a sprint. Or do we discuss at the next meeting with just the budget?

Outreach Department

Updates/Proposed Topics:

  • Working on the 20 years
  • New Social Media Team structure in the making

Operations Department

  • Working on the procedure to create Sandbox sites respecting privacy and in the easiest way possible.
  • Discussing how we could push forward JED4
  • I feel the Community Websites group is coming to shape and I need a leader for the team. Almost every member is a team leader so I need to look for people outside the team.

Vice President

  • Alexandre has quit Mattermost, Telegram etc due to bullying.
  • Official request for consideration by Daniel (TemplateJoomla)
  • Businesses around Joomla newsletter / effort —> discuss with Outreach Dept.

Other Business

Carlos has submitted a session to JoomlaDay ES about: Opening Keynote community-focused talk about the present and future of Joomla! Exploring the software’s new features, as well as new ways to get involved in the community.

[President] Joomla is in the process of officially becoming a member of the Eclipse Foundation Open Regulatory Compliance group. Need to sign the documents.
