Joomla Accessibility Team (Christiane Maier-Stadtherr)

  • Christiane found a text (in the release announcements) with outdated info about which WCAG Joomla supports. We support WCGA 2.1 - We have informed the marketing team and they will change release notes this way: With Joomla4 We have aimed for W3C Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 (with AA compliance)
  • We are working on a comprehensive description of what ATAG and what WCGA are regarding Joomla.
  • We need a team of translators who can help resolve the problem of languages with nominative month names. This is also related to the localisation of the calendar and it is an accessibility issue. Language must be correct. Only people who know these languages can help there.

* Release lead 4.0 (George Wilson):

  • 4.0 RC5 to be published today.
  • Going into full freeze aside from critical issues within the branch
    • Installation language sync to be fixed.
    • Security patches to be reviewed by David this week.
  • Continued discussions over stable release date/code names etc.

* Release lead 3.10 (Tobias Zulauf):

  • 3.10.0-rc1 will be published today.
  • 3.10.0-rc1 features its final codename “Daraja”.
  • The strings for the EOS Plugin landed in the repo now too and have been communicated with the TTs. Thanks to the CMS Release Team and Philip Walton.

CMS Maintenance Team (Robert Deutz)

  • No Release Blockers at the moment.

Google Summer of Code “Students Contribution” Team (Shivam Rajput)

  • GSoC 2021
    • All Students have successfully passed their first evalutaion.
    • First Blog of Each student is going to be published soon.
  • Summer 2021
    • First Evaluation begins from 15 Aug.
