My journey with Joomla began shortly after finishing Grade 12, when I started learning computer programming while working alongside my dad (Llewellyn), the core maintainer and developer of Joomla Component Builder (JCB). I initially helped with testing, debugging, and maintaining JCB, while also assisting with smaller client projects. Over the past three years, this experience has grown into deeper involvement in the Joomla ecosystem, including helping migrate many client sites from Joomla 5 to Joomla 6. I later joined the Community Sites Team, where I helped manage listings and tickets for the Service Provider Directory, and I am now part of the effort to rebuild the Service Directory alongside my Dad and Carlos Camara. More recently, I also became involved with Joomla's Social Media Team, supporting the work to strengthen Joomla's social media presence together with Cyril Reze. With the support and guidance of many community members, especially my Dad, I've gradually grown into an active contributor, helping support and improve the Joomla project.
