Owner, Robin Clapp, has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth. Prior to founding Web Design by Robin, she worked as a hardware/firmware engineer at General Dynamics for 13 years.

Using years of analytical and problem-solving thinking, Web Design by Robin has evolved into the business it is today – one that has helped countless small businesses and organizations with their most important online marketing tool, their website.

Web Design by Robin specializes in Joomla! website designs that are custom, mobile, secure, easy to update, and most recently, ADA compliant. Web Design by Robin has been in business for 19+ years and Robin has over 30 years of coding experience, the last 19 specifically in website development. She is continually keeping up-to-date with the latest tools and technology. She is a worldwide Joomla! community member since 2006 and is certified in the Joomla! Platform (Joomla Certified Administrator). Other certifications include W3C’s Introduction to Web Accessibility and edX’s HTML5 and CSS: Flexbox and CSS Grid.

Robin is a long-time volunteer in the Joomla Website Commununity. She was interviewed and featured in the February 2025 edition of the Joomla Community Magazine. She not only volunteers her time to help run the Joomla Day USA conference, she has also been a speaker 3 times. This year she will be traveling to the Netherlands to speak at the 2025 Joomla Dagen Conference.
