The Joomla! Certification Operations Team (COT) meets every Thursday at 1:00 PM GMT. This meeting was held on May 5th, 2016 on Glip.

Discussion Outline

• Luca reported news from the Steering Meeting.

• Exam Team finalized questions and provided them to Sam, in order to be uploaded on the Joomla! Exam Platform. Operations Team would say a very big “Thank you” to all the people in Exam and Platform Teams for their big work during last days.

• We should start the Pilot Test by the end of this week.

• Steering Meeting confirmed the intention to have the first Community Certification Event at JandBeyond, in Barcelona (20-22 May 2016).

• Patrick contacted JRD Team Leader and they will have a call next days to define the process to have Joomla! Learning Partners listed on Joomla! Resource Directory.

• Team is working on a simple “Agreement” for JUGs and JEvents that will host exams.

• Team will work on a process for Travel Funding applications.

• Last week Luca trained Johan, Todd and Pablo on how to handle and process RC applications.

• Johan, Todd and Pablo are working on applications from Regional Coordinators candidates and started the screening and evaluation process.

• Luca completed the screening process of all the applications from Joomla! Learning Partners candidates and JUG/JEvents.

• Most of the applicants did not answer our email and/or tickets, so we cannot process their applications. If you applied as JLP or you asked to host a Certification Exam, please look at your mailbox and answer emails from the Certification program. If you did not received email from us, please open a support ticket at https://certification.joomla.org/support
