The Joomla! Certification Operation Team (COT) meets every Thursday at 1:00 PM GMT. This meeting was held on May 12th, 2016 on Glip.

Discussion Outline

  • Luca reported news from the Steering Meeting.

  • Team members took the Exam Pilot Test until May 10 and sent feedbacks to Sam about the user experience on the Platform.

  • Grade to pass the Joomla! Administrator Exam is 80%.

  • Marketing Team is working on a landing page template to promote Exam sessions at JoomlaDay and Joomla!-related events. We’ll provide this template (HTML code + Images) to approved sessions organizers.

  • Johan, Todd and Pablo are working on applications from Regional Coordinators candidates and started the screening and evaluation process.

  • Richard shared with the team a preview of the Certificate.

  • Team discussed about the JLP Welcome Pack and the possibility to add a quick Learning Guide.

  • Most of the applicants did not answer our email and/or tickets, so we cannot process their applications. If you applied as JLP or you asked to host a Certification Exam, please look at your mailbox and answer emails from the Certification program. If you did not received email from us, please open a support ticket at https://certification.joomla.org/support

  • Next team meeting will be on May 26, 2016.
