Certification Operations Team - Meeting Notes - 23 June, 2016

The Joomla! Certification Operations Team (COT) meets every Thursday at 1:00 PM GMT. This meeting was held on June 23rd, 2016 on Glip.

In attendance: Luca Marzo, Arjen Schrijvers, Richard van Tilborg.

Absents: Andre Dreier, Chris Keen, Deb Cinkus, Johan Van der Velde, Patrick Jungbluth, Pablo Pantoja, Hector Mansilla, Todd Woodward, Sam Suresh.

Luca reported news from Steering Meeting.
Team is still waiting for Contracts approved by OSM.
Arjen and the Exam Team provided final questions to the Platform Team to start the import process.
Richard completed the review of the JLP Welcome Pack and sent it to the Joomla! Marketing Working Group for the final review.
Richard shared the draft of the Certificate of Joomla! Learning Partners.
Certification Marketing Team will work on the material for JLPs to promote the Certification Program.
Richard and the Certification Marketing Team are working hard to complete the JLP Welcome Pack.
Luca shared some data about Joomla! Learning Partners: 11 JLPs are ready to sign contracts. First countries with JLPs will be: United Kingdom, Italy, Austria, Malaysia, Norway, Belgium, Netherlands, Hungary, Nigeria, Botswana, Spain.
Luca created a group on Glip and invited all the JLP applicants in the “Ready to Sign” status.
Most of the applicants did not answer our email and/or tickets, so we cannot process their applications. If you applied as JLP or you asked to host a Certification Exam, please look at your mailbox and answer emails from the Certification program. If you did not received email from us, please open a support ticket at https://certification.joomla.org/support
