The Joomla! Certification Operations Team (COT) meets every Thursday at 1:00 PM GMT. This meeting was held on July 14th, 2016 on Glip.

Absents: Chris Keen, Deb Cinkus, Johan Van der Velde, Hector Mansilla, Sam Suresh,  Arjen Schrijvers, Richard van Tilborg, Pablo Pantoja, Todd Woodward.

Discussion Outline

  • Luca reported news from Steering Meeting.

  • OSM Board approved the Student Agreement. Luca sent the final contract to Platform Team and Certification Marketing Team. Sam will include the contract into the Exam Platform. Richard will work on a final contract document.

  • Team will publish on the Certification Website the Student Agreement.

  • COT is currently working on short agreements for JUGs and JoomlaDays, a brainstorming document is still alive.

  • Exam Team finished the review process of the questions.

  • Platform Team will build a new pilot test next week.

  • Luca shared with Platform Team details about pre-approved JLPs, Sam will start the enrollment process after the pilot test.

  • 15 applicants as JLP are ready to sign Contracts.

  • András Rátonyi is working as Liaison with the Joomla! Resource Directory (JRD) Team to figure out a way to publish JLPs in the JRD as already decided. JLPs will be listed in a dedicated category there.

  • Andrea Gentil (CMT) and Richard worked on the Exam Calendar on the Certification website. The calendar is almost ready and it will host all the exam sessions planned by JLPs, JUGs and JoomlaDays.

  • Most of the applicants did not answer our email and/or tickets, so we cannot process their applications. If you applied as JLP or you asked to host a Certification Exam, please look at your mailbox and answer emails from the Certification program.
