The Joomla! Certification Operations Team (COT) meets every Thursday at 1:00 PM GMT. This meeting was held on October 13th, 2016 on Glip.

In attendance: Patrick Jungbluth, Luca Marzo, Oscar Ortiz, Pablo Pantoja, Richard van Tilborg, Arjen Schrijvers.

Absents: Chris Keen, Hector Mansilla, Johan Van der Velde, Todd Woodward, Andre Dreier.

Discussion Outline

• Patrick reported news from the last Steering meeting.

• JLPs received the Welcome Packs and the JLP badge Policy.

• Exam Team worked hard to review the Exam and it’s ready for the session in Pisa on Saturday.

• Exam Team is working also on the tool to maintain questions.

• Luca worked on the ticket system during last weekend, cleaning up the list of pending tickets.

• Richard will join Luca as Supervisor at JoomlaDay Italy.

• Oscar will help the Platform Team as Developer, working with Michael at Certified Users Directory and then he will help Exam Team building the system to maintain questions.

• COT will work closely with Richard and Marketing Team in order to change and improve the content and navigation systems of the Certification Website.

• Following some wrong information posted on the Joomla! Community Magazine, Certification Operations Team wants to highlight that in case of Community Events and JoomlaDays, there’s a difference between the session organizer and the Supervisor. At events, only members approved by COT can supervise Exam Sessions. Generally session organizer is a different person from the Supervisor. About this, following in this report, COT publishes the list of upcoming exam sessions with approved Supervisors.
